Shooting at Compton Beauchamp
Shooting has been part of the countryside for the last few centuries and has changed in many ways over the years. Compton Beauchamp shoot has changed with the times going form larger bird days to more sustainable day. Our pheasant shoot has merged into pheasant and partridge days, with just partridge days in September and October.
We also do simulated bird days with clay pigeons over the summer months. we like to use the drives we already have to make it as realistic as possible.
Over the last eight years we have grown the shoot to cover more drives and more testing drives, we also have let some days to people who appreciate good shooting in a family environment.
The shoot is run by the family and the farm, with most days hosted by someone from the family.
Our keepers are conservation minded and you will find it hard not to bump into them at any time of the day.
