Caring for the environment is central to our approach to farming and land management. Across the estate, our commitment to enhancing biodiversity can be seen through extensive tree and hedgerow planting, the installation of bird boxes, the creation of wild bird seed plots, field margins, and beetle banks, as well as sensitive ditch and watercourse management.

We actively participate in a range of environmental initiatives, including the Countryside Stewardship Scheme, the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI), and Higher Level Organic Stewardship programmes. These measures help to create and maintain a rich and diverse habitat for wildlife, supporting farmland birds, pollinators, and other native species.

By balancing productive agriculture with responsible environmental management, we are continually working to enhance the natural landscape and ensure the estate remains a thriving haven for wildlife for generations to come.
